Nature and landscape jigsaw puzzles
Nature and landscape jigsaw puzzles — scenery puzzles of mountains, lakes, forests and coast — are the ones people come back to. Scenery gives you broad bands of sky, water and foliage that make you sort by colour and texture rather than hunt for an obvious edge, which keeps them relaxed at low piece counts and properly absorbing at high ones. This is the biggest collection on the site: alpine meadows, forest waterfalls, lavender rows, valley farms and coastlines, with new pictures added most weeks.

How hard one will be comes down to how much sky it gives up. A frame packed with trees is the slower solve; an open meadow under half a frame of cloud is easier than it looks, because cloud carries soft changes of tone you can follow. Find the horizon first — it splits the board into two smaller puzzles — then build the foreground where the detail is densest, and leave plain sky for last.
Choosing a landscape
If you want something gentle, pick a picture where land, water and sky each take a clear share of the frame: the bands sort themselves almost before you start. Meadows full of flowers and close-up woodland are the opposite — every piece is busy, so you work by colour family and the shapes of individual trees. Mountain views sit in between, with a crisp skyline to anchor everything else. Most people find 100 pieces a pleasant half hour and 300 a proper evening; at 500, a forest or a field of lavender is as hard as anything on the site.

Common questions
Are these nature jigsaw puzzles free to play online?
Yes. Every nature and landscape puzzle here is free and plays in your browser with nothing to download and no account. Pick any piece count from 12 to 500, and your progress saves on your own device so you can come back to a half-finished landscape later.
Why are landscape jigsaw puzzles so hard?
So much of a landscape is sky, water and leaves — large areas where one piece looks much like the next. Find the horizon first, build the trees and buildings, and leave the sky until last, placing it by small changes in tone.
Are there nature puzzles for adults?
Yes. Any landscape here can be cut to 300 or 500 pieces, and forests, meadows and big skies make the hardest nature puzzles on the site. Fewer pieces turn the same scenery into a gentle half hour.
What is the easiest kind of landscape jigsaw puzzle?
One with a strong horizon and only two or three big areas of colour — a lake under mountains, a beach and sea, a sunset. Each area becomes its own small puzzle, and the line between them gives you a straight edge to build along.
How often are new nature puzzles added?
Nature is the largest collection and grows most often; new landscapes arrive with the app’s regular picture updates. The date of the newest one is shown in the collection facts on this page.
