How to solve it

How hard one will be comes down to how much sky it gives up. A frame packed with trees is the slower solve; an open meadow under half a frame of cloud is easier than it looks, because cloud carries soft changes of tone you can follow. Find the horizon first — it splits the board into two smaller puzzles — then build the foreground where the detail is densest, and leave plain sky for last.
