About this puzzle
Coral Reef is a free online jigsaw puzzle you can play straight in your browser, at any size from 12 to 500 pieces. Drag a piece near where it belongs and it snaps into place; joined pieces then move together as one. Your progress saves on this device, so you can close the tab and carry on later — and every finish earns points towards your next level and grows something in My Garden.
The picture is original artwork made for the Jigsaw Puzzles app, and it plays here exactly as it does there.
How to solve it
Turn the usual advice round and ignore the border at first: assemble the animal, then push outward from its outline into the grass and sky around it, which is where these actually get difficult. At 24 or 48 pieces a child places something within the first minute; at 200 and up, fur becomes the real challenge, and following the direction it grows is the way through.
